About Us

Lawnwood Memorial Park was started in 1954 by Lewis D. Caldwell and Samuel G. Cowan. The original purchase was only a small number of acres, but over the last few decades has expanded to a little over 60 acres. Lawnwood has continued to offer a peaceful and caring place to serve as the final resting place for the loved ones of four generations.

A perpetual care cemetery, organized under the law and guidelines of the Secretary of the State of Georgia, Lawnwood Memorial Park provides rolling hills of green lawn that are kept neatly manicured year round. Our flat bronze gardens, and newly developed upright bronze and granite gardens, provide families options to satisfy most requests.
